this assignment is in Java not in JavaScript. you can use JDK or Eclipse ....:) 

@ Sidra to solve this assignment following steps will be helpful for you.

Take the file of data from system using command File.

then scan the file.

read all the numbers from file using Java iterator and save double format.

now perform all calculation(give in assignment).

you should care about exceptional handling.
