Re: :::|| VU Google Group ||::: MTH302

what is the probability that both of them wear a seat belt

= p (1st wear seatbelt & 2nd waer SeatBelt) = P (A) AND p(B)

= 43/100 * 43/100 = 0.18 = 18%

 In the United States, 43% of people wear a seat belt while driving. If two people are chosen at random, what is the probability that both of them wear a seat belt?

       18%

       20%

       25%

       None of these
